The gTonnicks Method — MisterG
Est. West Africa · Nice · Los Angeles

Movement with intention.

Born from martial arts, refined through ballet and La Savate, realized in Los Angeles — the gTonnicks Method is a precision movement system engineered to sculpt, tone, and transform the body through intentional muscular activation. Not harder. Smarter.

The Seed Moment
"The instant I assumed the chambering position, my glutes, obliques, and hips lit up. I could feel them firing in a way I had never experienced before."

Three continents.
One revelation.

gTonnicks was not invented in a lab or a boardroom. It was discovered across three decades of lived experience — in Africa, France, and Los Angeles — through the relentless pursuit of what truly makes the body respond.

Teenage Years
Born in Africa — The Seed of a Revelation
Training with French Taekwondo black belt Charles, MisterG first encountered the chambering technique of La Savate. In that single moment — knees up, muscles coiling — the glutes, obliques, and hips fired with an intensity he had never experienced. It was not just a martial move. It was a training goldmine. A seed was planted.

Refined in France — Where Ballet Met Savate
Living in Nice, MisterG became a coach-observer — studying the fluidity of La Savate fighters and the structural power of ballerinas side by side. Both moved with purpose, balance, and control. He began to ask: what would happen if these two worlds — plus the structural mastery of gymnastics — were assembled into a single methodology?

Realized in Los Angeles — The Birth of gTonnicks
At Starphysique, his LA studio, the lightbulb moment arrived. Clients kept saying: "I've lost weight… but I don't feel toned." MisterG thought back to Africa. That burn — that precise, intentional activation — was the answer. By 2004, gTonnicks had sold hundreds of workout videos. The demand kept growing, not just because it worked, but because it felt empowering.
"It was not just a martial technique — it was a powerful form of muscular activation. Even back then, something in me recognized that this had the potential to be more than just a fighter's move. It was a training goldmine."

The chambering position — drawing the knee up before a strike in La Savate — created a coiled, powerful stance that simultaneously engaged muscle groups most training systems never reach together. That accidental discovery became the biomechanical foundation of the entire gTonnicks Method.

The Realization
One chambering position engaged more muscles simultaneously than most full workouts. That precision — not volume — became the gTonnicks core principle.

The shift that
changes everything.

IPCM
Intentional and
Purposeful
Contraction of the
Muscles
01
Engage Before You Move
IPCM begins before the movement starts. The target muscle is consciously activated — contracted with deliberate intention — before any external motion takes place. This reverses the reactive pattern most people use, where the body moves first and the muscle responds after.
02
Control Every Inch
Every phase of every movement is controlled. The concentric, the peak, the eccentric — each is directed consciously, with the muscle working on purpose throughout the full arc. Nothing is passive. Nothing is momentum. Every degree earns its result.
03
Mind-Muscle is Real
The mind-muscle connection is not a metaphor — it is a measurable, trainable neurological pathway. IPCM develops this connection deliberately and progressively. The result: muscles that respond to command, not just load.
04
It Has No Off Switch
When you genuinely internalize IPCM, you carry it everywhere. When you walk, you engage. When you stand, you align. When you reach for something, you control. Your posture changes. Your presence changes. The way you occupy your own body changes — permanently.
05
It Enhances Everything Else
IPCM does not replace your existing training. It upgrades it. Bring it to the weight room and your lifts become more intentional. Bring it to your run and your posture corrects without thinking. Bring it to yoga and your alignment deepens. It is not a program — it is a way of inhabiting your body.
06
The First Time Feeling
MisterG has watched it happen hundreds of times. A client performs an exercise they have done for years. He asks them to engage the target muscle before they move. They look at him with wide eyes and say the same thing: "I have never felt that before." That moment — that first genuine contact between mind and muscle — is where real training begins.
"gTonnicks isn't just a workout — it's a story written in motion, inspired by life, and shaped by discipline."
— MisterG, Founder of gTonnicks & Author of The G Code Manual

He needed his
own method to
save himself.

MisterG shares this not for drama, but for honesty. There came a period — long hours, a demanding business, the slow weight of a toxic personal relationship — where he stopped truly practicing what he taught. Weight crept from 170 to 188 pounds. Blood pressure climbed. A prediabetic diagnosis followed.

When the relationship ended and the pace slowed, he returned to IPCM. He returned to the Form. He returned to the nutritional discipline he had always prescribed but had quietly abandoned for himself. The results were not instant. But they were real.

"This book was not written from a position of unbroken success. It was written from experience — including the experience of needing my own method to save me from myself."

Why This Matters
MisterG is not just the creator of gTonnicks. He is its most tested subject. The method has been proven not in controlled conditions — but in real life, under real stress, with real consequences.

It does not replace
your training. It transforms it.

The most common misconception MisterG encounters — and the one he is most committed to correcting.

I
Not a replacement for what you love
gTonnicks is not asking you to abandon your weightlifting, your running, your yoga, your sport, or your physical therapy. It competes with nothing. It is a layer of intelligence applied on top of everything you already do — making every movement more intentional, more effective, and more yours.
II
Not an 8-week program you set aside
IPCM is not a phase. It does not end. Once genuinely internalized, it travels with you permanently — into the gym, through your commute, into how you carry your body in every room you walk into. It is a way of inhabiting yourself, not a protocol with an expiry date.
III
Not about doing more
The gTonnicks breakthrough is not volume. It is not more reps, more sessions, or more time. The chambering discovery taught MisterG that one precisely executed position could activate more muscle than an entire conventional workout. The question is never how much — it is how deliberately.
IV
Not just for the gym
gTonnicks is designed for real people — and real life. When you learn IPCM, you bring it to how you walk, how you stand, how you reach for something overhead, how you pick up your children. Every movement in your day becomes training. Your body never goes off the clock again.

Like discovering an
exotic fruit
for the first time.

gTonnicks is like discovering an exotic fruit for the very first time. That first encounter is bold — intense, even unfamiliar — as your senses adjust to something entirely new. But you lean in for another taste. Then another. Slowly, the complexity reveals itself, and what once felt overwhelming becomes irresistible. Before long, you're not just enjoying it — you're craving it.

gTonnicks is the kind of experience that starts as a curiosity and quietly becomes a necessity, the thing you didn't know you needed until you simply can't imagine being without it.
